How to See Energy
I got a call from a client the other day who had some really exciting news to share with me. We have been working together for about 4 months and recently, in the past 4 weeks or so, I have been teaching her how to channel. She is a naturally gifted Intuitive Empath who practices almost daily, but whose talents and gifts stem back to childhood. (Spoiler alert: very few mediums, psychics or channelers were born that way, they actually started out as novices and worked their way into their “natural born gifts” before making their living with their gifts.
Anyway, she had been practicing channeling and working with a multi-dimensional being named, Luna. She excitedly blurted out, “I have been channeling energy my whole life but today is the first day I actually saw it! Thanks to you, I now know what it is, and what it was I was doing when I was a kid.” She went on to thank me. I am always the first one to say, I only help Empaths remember who they are. I facilitate their remembering, I do not teach them how to be, their Higher Self and intuition does that.
To do this exercise you do not have to be a gifted, Intuitive Empath like my client, anybody can do this.. Trust me, you will be glad you did. It could even change the way you see the world.
For this exercise, I encourage you to set aside at least 35-45 minutes for yourself. Consider it an exercise in self-care. Go for a long walk, and look for a place where you have a good view of a treeline where it meets skyline. I like to start my walk and mentally list 10-15 things I am grateful for. The idea is to raise your vibration higher than it was when you left your house. Think of all the things that make you happy, and feel it in your heart, think of those you love and feel the “butterflies” or delicate energy shift, in your heart. It is a subtle shift but, that is what you look for; to see, to feel, to hear the subtleties.
If you are good at staring off into space, maybe when you are tired, or bored, or just plain daydreaming you will be great at this! Below are the directions to actually see energy. Warning: May Change the Way You See and Experience the World in which we love.
1). Go outside and walk around. As I mentioned previously, list off 15-20 things you are grateful for. It helps raise your vibration.
2). Do some long, deep & slow meditative breathes. Breathe in for 5 counts, hold for 3, and breathe out for 5 counts. Take your time, it is through our breathe that we oxygenate our cells, send signals to our nervous system to relax, and to open the portals that helps us to experience this energy viewing. Repeat this pattern of breathing at least 5 times.
3). Feel your body relax, do a check in with your body by bringing your awareness all to your head, then scalp, then face, then neck, then shoulders until you get all the way down to your feet.
4). Now as you gaze out locate where the tree line meets the sky. Stay focused on this area.
5). Don’t strain your eyes or stare intently; just soften the gaze as if you are spacing out. When we do this we have a soft gaze and allow things to come to us.
6). What you are looking for is heatwaves, fuzzy air, or sparkles. Many of you will have a remembering; you may have seen this many times as a child.
Once you accomplished this, you will not be able to unsee or stop seeing it. Congratulations! You can now see energy. If it is too bright during the day to see, return at sunset this is when the veil is thinnest.
